What to expect at your first meeting
Coming for the first time takes courage, and we understand. Here is what to expect at your first meeting, so you arrive at ease:
Come in and take a seat
No need to notify anyone or register. Arrive a few minutes early and sit wherever you like.
Just listening is fine
You do not have to speak or share your story. Many people only listen their first few times.
First names only
To protect anonymity, we use first names only in the group.
A warm, welcoming space
You will find warmth and people who understand what you are going through.
Open doors
You do not need an appointment or registration
Just come during the published times. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
